Proofs and Printing

So the artwork has finally been approved for printing! We had some formatting issues, then a delay while working out UPC code details, but now we're good to go.

I saw the proofs of the cards last week and they look awesome. It was pretty unbelievable!

Learned some things along the way, especially when working out pricing and warehousing issues. The behind the scenes accounting is going to much more complicated than I originally thought, but my brother Eric and I are going to get a plan in place to handle everything. So things may be a bit bumpy for us initially, but once things get rolling I'm sure they will smooth out.

We're really hoping to get the game into a couple retail establishments, such as KB Toys, right off the bat. Plus my brother and I plan on attending various Geocaching events to help spread the word or even have decks to sell there.

The wait is now on getting the cards printed and shipped back to Groundspeak. Since its being printed and assembled overseas, we will have some time to wait. But hopefully the game will be out and ready to sell by July.
